Greetings...
I have discovered the best way to stay connected with friends is through blogging. I am happy to make this connection and keep my viewers informed about new discoveries that I find helpful. There are tools everyplace I look to enhance my journey. I hope that these same tools will benefit you as well.
I recently discovered an artist, Daniel Edmondson, www.oilpaintingworkshop.com who offers an online tutorial. His work has a freshness that I was immediately attracted to. I signed up and have enjoyed learning how to paint using, 'beautiful brushstrokes'. That boils down to painting with LOTS OF PAINT, but carefully! Daniel believes there is not only one way to paint and I concur fully. I see beautiful artwork all the time, most of it different than the next.
But, for me, this approach has been very liberating and exhilerating. I am working on 'daily paintings' and can appreciate the value in consistency. I hope you will visit me often in the days, weeks, and months ahead to see how my work evolves. I look forward to sharing the experience with you...
Here is my first week's assignment, Bowl with Orange.
